Our parish is once again participating in the 2026 Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal. This year's theme is: "Many Hands, One Mission. A 50-Year Legacy."
50 YEARS: Many Hands. One Mission.
Fifty Years of Hope.
For fifty years, the Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal has been a living expression of who we are as Church, not just an institution, but the People of God, united in mission.
Through your generosity, lives have been changed:
The hungry have been fed
Families strengthened in times of crisis
Young people empowered to live their faith
Faith nurtured in parishes, schools, and ministries across our diocese
This Appeal exists because no parish stands alone. Together, we ensure help, hope, and healing reach every corner of our diocesan family.
“When you hear the word Church, think: me. I am part of the Church. I am the Church.”
FAITH IN ACTION. Love Made Visible.
The Appeal enables us to respond—sometimes quietly, always compassionately—to needs we may never personally witness:
A child without shoes.
A family struggling to afford clothing or food.
A parish seeking support to sustain vital ministry.
Because of the Appeal, help arrives with dignity and discretion. Catholic Charities, parish ministries, schools, and diocesan programs work together so that no one is reduced to a label; they are recognized as children of God.
“You might not be aware of a person who needs this or that… the Appeal allows us to provide for those material needs.”
—Bishop Koenig
Your gift becomes compassion in motion.
THE CHURCH OF TODAY — and Tomorrow
We often say young people are the future of the Church.
They are the Church today.
Through the Appeal, young people are not spectators; they step into true leadership roles by planning and guiding service projects, taking initiative in parish activities, and contributing their voices to decisions that shape our community. They are formed, empowered, and invited to live Catholic stewardship as a way of life, sharing faith openly, serving generously, and carrying hope forward.
“If the young Church of today is strengthened and empowered, they will carry that forward.”
Your support ensures that faith is not only preserved, it is alive, growing, and shared.
AN INVESTMENT in Mission
A gift to the Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal is not just a sacrifice; it is an investment.
An investment in:
Bringing God to people—and people to God
Forming priests, deacons, and lay leaders
Supporting families, seniors, and those on the margins
Strengthening parishes and ministries beyond parish boundaries
“The money that’s raised doesn’t stay with us. It provides the means for us to go out and spread the Good News.”
Together, with many hands and one mission, look at what we have built—and imagine what we will continue to build.
Join us once again.
When we come together in faith, we make a real difference—and continue the good work begun half a century ago.
