Fr Jim Greenfield, an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales, OSFS will speak on the topic of “Living Flexibly in an Anxious World” and use insights from Salesian spirituality and Scripture. Speaking about the legacy of St. Francis de Sales, Pope Francis praised the saint’s realization that “the world was changing, and the mark of a completely evangelical response was flexibility and a farsighted vision.” We, too, are challenged to be a church that is outward looking and free of all worldliness even as we live in the world.
