The Church of Wilmington joyfully announces the Ordination of James Gebhart into the Sacred Order of the Priesthood by the Most Reverend William E Koenig, D.D. on Saturday, May 18 at 11am from the Cathedral of St Peter in Wilmington.  The Ordination Mass will be live-streamed by the Diocese. The Church of Wilmington joyfully announces the Ordination of Dennis Stameza to the Order of Deacons through the Laying On of Hands and the Invocation of the Holy Spirit by the Most Reverend William E Koenig, D.D. on Saturday, May 11 at 11am from St. John the Beloved Parish in Pike Creek and he will serve his first Mass as a Deacon on Sunday, May 12 at 10:30am, here at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. We are saddened to announce the death of Father Thomas A. Flowers, a priest of the Diocese of Wilmington for more than 46 years, who died April 17 at the age of 73. Father Flowers was a longtime pastor until his retirement in 2020. Please keep the repose of the soul of Father Thomas A. Flowers and the consolation of his family and friends in your prayers. A viewing will take place on Friday, 4/26 at 10am at St Elizabeth Church in Wilmington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm, which will be live streamed by the Diocese at https://www.youtube.com/dioceseofwilm
