On Sunday, March 23, from 3pm to 8pm, here at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, there will be a Lenten Retreat celebrating the Jubilee Year for High School Youth who reside within the Iron Hill Deanery. The retreat will include prayer, dinner, social time, small group discussions, and reflections on how we can be signs of hope in our world, as Pope Francis has called for during this Jubilee Year. On Thursday, March 13 from 9am to 2:30pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, a discernment day will be held for young men in high school who would be open to a conversation about the priesthood with Bishop Koenig, Priests and our Seminarians. The Parish Office is closed today due to the weather. Religious Education Classes and the Eucharist Parent Meeting are cancelled for tonight. The parent meeting will be rescheduled. There is no Adoration today at 9am or 7pm.

Come and See “THE CHOSEN" (Season 4) and follow Jesus and the Apostles as they "get used to different." Every Thursday evening, 6:30 pm, February 20-April 10, 2025 in the McGivney conference room in the formation center. We will view each episode, discuss its relevance, and fellowship with light refreshments. (Adults only please.)

High School Seniors whose families are registered at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish are invited to apply for the $1,000 James P. Brennan Memorial College Scholarship, offered by the Ancient Order of Hibernians. The application deadline is March 17, 2025. Questions can be addressed to [email protected]. 14th CYM Pilgrimage Join hundreds of others on Saturday, April 12, 2025, as we walk the streets of Wilmington carrying the Pilgrimage Cross with Bishop Koenig. We are excited to welcome back “The Scally Brothers” to lead worship throughout the day. It will start at St. Elizabeth with prayer and a concert, to St. Francis Hospital for a special blessing of the patients, then Reconciliation at St. Anthony of Padua, followed by the Stations of the Cross at Padua Academy, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Paul, and Blessing of Palms and Mass upon our return to St. Elizabeth. Join this event commemorating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and His pilgrimage to Calvary on Good Friday. Click for more info and to register.

A bill authorizing assisted suicide in Delaware, orginially vetoed by Governor Carney last year, has the verbal support of newly elected Governor Matt Meyer and is once again up for a vote in the Delaware House of Representatives.
