Bishop Koenig will receive the Eucharist in the monstrance on June 11 on Kent Island, Maryland and continue the Pilgrimage through several churches ending at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Wilmington for Mass at 11:00am, on June 12. After Mass, the Bishop will depart from the Port of Wilmington to hand off the monstrance to Bishop Williams of Camden. For more information click here.
Holy Family Catholic Church in Newark is once again opening Vacation Bible School to Seton Parishioners from Age 3 through Grade 7. VBS will take place June 23-26 from 8:30am-1pm each day. The Diocese of Wilmington is encouraging parishioners to learn more about the new Federal Scholarship Tax Credit (FSTC) program and the importance of Delaware and Maryland opting in before the January 1, 2027 deadline. If adopted by the states, the program could provide significant scholarship opportunities for students attending both public and private schools at no cost to the state. Parishioners are encouraged to review the attached fact sheet to better understand the program and its potential impact on education throughout our region.
