St. Joseph on the Brandywine (10 Old Church Rd, Wilmington, DE) will host the annual Red Mass of the St. Thomas More Society of the Diocese of Wilmington on Sunday, October 4, at 4:00 p.m. Bishop William E. Koenig will serve as celebrant, with retired Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz delivering the homily. The Red Mass is a longstanding Catholic tradition that brings together members of the legal profession, judiciary, government, and others involved in the administration of justice to pray for God’s guidance and blessing in their work.

Friday, September 11 is the 25th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks against our country. Fr. Carroll invites you to stop by the Church anytime on Friday from 8:00am - 8:00pm. There will be a resource for prayer and a place to record your memories. You may also write memories and bring them to church on Friday or over the weekend where they can be placed at our memorial display.

Attention active and retired police, fire, EMT and military, you are invited to the Annual Diocese of Wilmington Blue Mass to honor the work of all public safety personnel and military on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Beloved Parish (907 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). The Blue Mass is an annual event that honors local, county, state, and federal law enforcement, fire, emergency medical, and military personnel and their families who live and work in the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, which includes Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. First Responders of all faiths are welcome at the Mass!
